| Open Water Diver This includes the complete academic package (CD Rom or Online), academic review & test, up to 3 days of diving (confined/pool and 4 to 5 dives), use of gear, mask, fins, snorkel, booties, weights, regulator, BCD, wet suit, tanks, pictures (dive photos and for the certification card), and certification card. What is not included is food, lodging, transportation (we carpool when we can), and dive site fees (ranges from $5 to $35). By us supplying all the gear, you save over $150 in initial funding. Most dive shops require that you own your basic gear (and buy it from them). One day, you will need your basic gear, like mask, fins, booties, snorkel & weight belt. When you head off to dive as a certified open water diver, you will need that basic gear, but we do not require you to purchase ANY gear for your Open Water Diver course. You can bring your own gear, or you can get it later when you are a much more informed and certified diver. |

Guided Dives
(open water to
technical, cavern and cave) We have a LOT of diving going on in Florida, and a wide assortment of dive sites from oceans to lakes, springs, and caves. Some are easy to access, but some of the most wonderful places are very remote and difficult to get to. This link shows you a variety of diving we did in just one month. The level of the Guided Dives are based on your experience and training level, so be sure to bring or provide proof if requesting anything beyond an open water dive or anything deeper than 100feet/30 meters. |

diver. Using trimix (Nitrogen, Oxygen & Helium) helps keep
narcosis out of the dive plan to depths in the 80'/24m to
130'/40m range. To qualify for this 2 day, 2 dive class, you must be an
Advanced Open Water and Nitrox diver. |

 During the SDI Visual Inspection Procedures course you will learn to promote safety in the care and maintenance of high-pressure scuba cylinders by way of your SDI Instructor and a comprehensive Visual Inspection Procedures manual. One of the goals is to raise the consciousness of the industry to the need to meet and exceed the minimum standards established by local Regulations. Another goal is to train inspectors in the proper handling, filling, and inspection techniques including the identification of the various defective conditions that can lead to cylinder rejection or condemnation. |
