Diver
How do you take a subject like accident prevention and management and turn it into fun? Call it the Rescue Diver program! The Rescue Diver program develops your knowledge and skills so you can effectively perform diver assists and rescues, manage diving accident situations and render first aid. The program is an important step in expanding your knowledge and experience as a diver. A Rescue Diver (or equivalent) certification is also a prerequisite for all leadership programs. To get into the Rescue Diver program, you'll need to be certified as an Advanced Open Water Diver or Advanced Plus (or equivalent) and must be at least 15 years old. The Junior Rescue Diver program is available if you're between the ages of 10 and 14 and hold a Junior Advanced Open Water Diver or Advanced Plus (or equivalent) rating. You'll also need to have successfully completed a MEDIC FIRST AID program (included as part of our course) or a sanctioned program in CPR within the past three years. The Rescue Diver program covers:
After successfully completing the program, you'll receive an internationally recognized Rescue Diver certification card. The Rescue Diver course is a
prerequisite to the Master Scuba Diver rating. Click
